The ministry of tourism has embarked on serious exercise of checking all hotels in Uganda, hotels classification exercise is annually, and the ministry comes with different gradings according to the standards, normally they are in five categories: Upmarket, moderate,Budget, shoestring and camping. or stars 12345.
The purpose of this classification is to break up long hotel listings that span wide price range, and also help readers find out which hotels suites their budgets.
