TOURISM IS ONE THE FASTEST GROWING ECONOMIC SECTORS OF UGANDA
Uganda’s public and private tourism players will exhibit
Uganda tourism attractions at the annual Indaba fair in Durban, South Africa
staled for May 9th upto 11th 2015.
It’s thought to be the largest on the continent, anticipated
to attract over 1000 exhibiting companies from different countries and over
6500 visitors, 300 hosted buyers, 4000 travel professional visitors, 200 media.
For the last three years Indaba has won the award of the
Africa’s best travel and tourism
show.this is a leading business exhibitors for the Africa’s leisure
travel industry bringing the world to Africa and taking/bringing Africa to the
world’s leading source markets.
This fair services all tourism channels inbound, out bound
and intra-regional thus catering for all markets-leisure travel, luxury tourism,
and the business travel sector and offering suppliers or buyers a choice for
the first time, last year was the first time that Uganda exhibited in Durban,
led by the minister of Tourism, wildlife and antiquities Mrs Maria Mutagamba
with a stand space of 54sqm.
This year UTB, Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities,
UWA, CAA, together with 14 Ugandan Tour operators will showcase Uganda’s
tourist attractions, Investment opportunities and hold meetings with other participating
government agencies and also network with travel industry groups.
UTB will also host the Atta-African travel and tourism Association
Indaba networking evening on the 9th
may 2015.
ATTA networking this year is bringing together over 250
tourism and travel professionals from all over the World, At this event, Uganda
has an opportunity to present and showcase it’s beauty and attractions.
